Heali'i's in VR
Our Kane director, James Stanley, created a world in Meta Horizon on the Meta Quest 2. VR is a new wave that we can share our culture and community with our haumana and friends. If you have the Meta Quest, jump on and join us at "Heali'i's Island."
Heali'i had an exciting opportunity to explore the Ray-Ban Meta Glasses for a unique project. While audiences typically view performances from their perspective, this time we captured the experience through the eyes of the performers. Center for World Music is a program focused on bringing culture to the public light, especially in the schools. Music Director Anthony Stanley was the first on their radar and quickly asked him to share his gifts with the children of San Diego. After that, CWM saw that Anthony had two other siblings that also shared the Polynesian culture in their community. Now, James and Edie teach alongside with Anthony throughout the San Diego School Districts.
