July's Newsletter
Aloha to the month of July. In Hawaiian we say Iulai (eee-ooo-liee). This past month we had many graduates from our dance group finish high school, college, or a trade school. This month we will have two big events, back to back, for all of our haumana to be able to attend. Also this month we will spend majority of it preparing for our Ho'ike on August 19th, 2023.
Asian Pacific Islander Events
This past month, our hālau (dance school) had the honor of performing for several colleges and grade school assemblies. Also check out our own Kumu, Kathy Heali'i O Nalani Gore Stanley, as she was interviewed byABC Channel 10.
